Slashing Dmg: 15-22 (Requires 9 Swordsmanship)
Damage +19% (while Hexed)
Swordsmanship +1 (19% chance while using skills)
Energy gain on hit: 1
Energy regeneration -1
Value: 212 gold

i found this a while ago, and i just wanted to double check. that +19% while hexed is inherent, right? it can't be changed no matter how hard i try to cram in an inscription?

sorry if this is a noob question - i don't have high end weapons, r7 or r8 anything.

Value: 184 gold

again, is the +5 also inherent? Please bear with me, i'm exceedingly hesitant to apply mods to them for fear of ruining what i think to be a great item.

1- yes. You can't change it.
2- yes. You can't change it.

You can't change any "inherent" mod of non-inscr. weapons

If the damage-mod doesnt say "Inscription: " somewhere you can't change it.

It's not necessarily always a damage mod, even on melee weapons, for example, Energy +5.

@OP, neither is inscribable

Just because an item isn't inscribable doesn't mean it isn't good/wanted though. Those Daggers are actually quite nice, and would be very usable. Not sure on pricing on them, but they would be worth way more than the merchant value, and already have a nice Fortitude mod on them. If you aren't going to use them yourself, get a price check on them and sell them.

Please remember that applying mods will never ruin an item, only removing mods has a chance of ruining the item.
